Registrations are now Open for AARSE Webinar


The African Association of Remote Sensing of the Environment (AARSE) is hosting a webinar themed “AARSE, A Major African Network for the Promotion of Remote Sensing of the Environment”. The Webinar will be hosted on teleconferencing platform, Zoom.

The Webinar comes up on Thursday, 24 September 2020 from 1:00pm – 3:30pm UTC (12:00pm – :30pm WAT). The speakers for the conference are:

Prof Tsehaie Woldai speaking on ‘AARSE and the AU Agenda 2063’; Prof Kamal Labbassi, speaking on ‘Objectives of AARSE representation in Africa sub-regions’; Prof Jide Kufoniyi, ‘Partnerships and collaborations of AARSE’; Prof Solomon Tesfamichael, ‘AARSE communication tools’; Prof Yazidhi Bamutaze, ‘AARSE in the East Africa sub-region’; Prof Islam Abou El-Magd, ‘Realising Africa’s development pathway: lessons from the 12th AARSE conference, 2018’; Dr Fabien Hagenimana, ‘Upcoming AARSE 13th Conference, Rwanda, 2021’; Prof Abel Ramoelo, ‘Why join AARSE’. The moderator will be Prof Souleye Wade, Communications manager of AARSE.
