The Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD) International Conference will be held virtually from 17 August 2021 to 19 August 2021, and registrations are underway. The theme of this year’s conference is “Reflecting on Resilience.”
The objective of this year’s conference will be on how to map development challenges and solutions for a better world.
The event provides everyone from policymakers to industry leaders to students with an excellent opportunity for all to be part of the RCMRD community and participate in the quest to build resilience at people, planet and policy levels.
Participants are encouraged to showcase their work, engage with experts, and enjoy keynote speakers on this global networking platform. Thus, interested participants who want to present their work should submit their abstracts before July 23rd, 2021.
The five thematic areas are:
- Land Use Management and Administration;
- Agriculture and Food Security;
- Weather and Climate;
- Water and Water-related Disasters; and
- Innovation and Developers Hub.
The event is free.
