ICPAC Calls For Applications To The Satellite And Weather Information For Disaster Resilience In Eastern Africa Project

The IGAD Climate Prediction and Applications Centre (ICPAC) has received Financing from the African Development Bank in Euros towards the cost of the Satellite and Weather Information for Disaster Resilience in Eastern Africa (SAWIDREA) project. It intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant to payments under the contracts for the Consultancy Service.

The Consulting service included under this project is: Consultancy for setting up of flood forecasting and risk management pilot demonstration, mobilization and capacity building for local communities in Juba region of Somalia

The ICPAC, which is the Project Implementing Agency, now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc).

Eligibility criteria, the stipulations for the shortlist and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s Procurement Policy of 2015, which is available on the Bank’s website
